Anyone?

Post by coxy »

Anyone recognise my 3.2 sse, pictured as it was in 1997, trying to find out any info/history on it. Has a PCGB sticker on the window. The paint job was apparently done from the factory, haven't seen that before anyone else?? Reg at the time D*** DPF

I really like that. :P But I don't recognise it, sorry. It reminds me of the ones that had Martini or turbo stripes on them. Image

I see from your avatar that it no longer has these graphics. Are you thinking of having them redone?

Yep i was contemplating having them done, unsure. Wouldn't like to think of the cost though. I was hoping someone would recognise it with a paint job like that. Very retro. Im still got thigs to do yet from my winter blues list.

The Fuchs look fantastic. Good news you have them :) Theres an ebay shop with different graphics. Not too expensive if you DIY. Used to have a Scalextric 911 like yours! Think it's that massive spoiler that does it for me!

Done the DVLA thing and got a list of all the previous owners, wrote to all of them inc the dealer, got one reply back, thats how i acquired the photo. Found out it was with the same family for eight years in that time it has been to Monaco and Le Mans and never missed a beat. It was a PCGB member at one time but i haven't had one reply from PCGB, never mind.

Get yourself to as many shows as you can - with some luck an ex-owner will spot her at one and say hello :D
