Hi All,

YouDrive@Porsche based in Silverstone have a Driving Skills Academy course on Saturday 14th August 2010 at a cost of £165pp. I'd like to get together 5 members or more to participate in the programme. Click the link below to watch a video clip to get an idea of what the 1/2 day entails (click Broadband or Dial-up in the top right hand corner of the screen as applicable):

The highlights of the day are on the link below:

Anyone who wishes to go needs to either PM me or contact Vikki Dawson on 08443 573 911. Please mention my name, Ben Rodrigues and that you are with TIPEC to get a free lunch @ Porsche on the day of the event. This is restaurant cuisine that would normally set you back £30. This is only possible if we have 5 participants or more.

Feel free to PM me if you have any questions. I'm looking to try to book this in the next few weeks if possible.

Ben :bounce:

Having visited at the end of last year, I promised myself that I’d do the YouDrive course sometime in 2010.

In the cold light of almost-Spring though, I’m not sure I can afford to.

Bah. I really want to do this … it’d be even better with a group of TIPEC cars together for the day.

For reference, the food’s really pretty good and the track facilities are out of this world. Ice hill, low-friction corners, high friction corners, kick plate … just amazing fun.

I've been on this today :D
Excellent fun although the Ice hill was broken, so they gave us access to the low friction circuit :P

Not cheap but these things never are, you could however end up learning something and saving that much money in damage though
Agreed that the food is good and the saving offered is quite nice... but £30??

Sorry Ben I would love to go for this but am stuck with child care & can't see that changing for awhile. :( They don't usually like small passengers!
