John, you must have been writing your last post as I did mine, anyway,I think Harewood has to be the best possible venue. In September there was so much room for expansion of the show, there could have been much more room for our Porsches ,similarly the TVRs and all the other clubs involved. It would be worth getting in touch with the organisers and discussing a bigger Porsche attendance. The facilities are already there ,the attractions other than cars are there and with advance booking we got in for £7 per car this year as opposed to the normal charge which I think is about £10.95 per person. One thing about the September Harewood show, there were very few trade stands.Maybe we could get a couple of local independants interested and maybe some accessory and parts specialists too! Only a few people have responded to this thread.I wonder how much interest there is from the various Northern regions.Come on guys, are you up for it?

Hi,
Chris Crossley that organises CITP is just managing to get a few people interested in trade stands. At Newby, there was 1 stand selling decals and number plates. Later in the year at Harewood, I reckon there were around 10 trade stands catering for all marques of car. The avalanche (pardon the pun at the moment) that is CITP is gathering in size and momentum as I've mentioned in the articles I've written about the shows. Sadly, the CITP Harewood article didn't make it into the latest edition of All Torque. I know that this is due to the magazine only being produced every 2 months and space constraints.
On another note, I'm not bothered where the Northern show is. Near or far, the main thing that I enjoy is that I'm out in the car enjoying driving it. It's also good to get out and have a good chin wag with like minded enthusiasts. 'Nuh said.
