I knew before I joined that the Herts and North London group is inactive and as far as I know it doesnt currently meet at the venue previously posted. Baring in mind i'm a newb here I dont want to be expecting too much but is there any way of contacting Herts/North London members if they are even interested in a meet.
Maybe instead of the R.O post vacant message in the mag someone could put in the mag please contact x or y if you will be interested in the meet , that way a few folk might say yes if they know others are ? just a thought.I can go to the Anglian meet or the South Central one but it seems a shame if the North London Herts meet is left to die as this may discourage members in this neck of the woods. I was put off by it but fealt I would join the club as overall nationally it seemed so friendly.
Please don't post " its not our fault if no one does it " , I'm totally aware of that and blaming no one , I'm just hoping that someone might be able to give the area a leg up club wise. I already posted on a forum topic " does anyone go " but with zero replies from any local members. Having met a few TIPEC folk at the NEC it occurs to me that shamefully there are still many folk who dont use the web / forum
