Was it you?
Maybe I am missing this, but can't see any "was it you" string as per the one that used to be on Porsche 1 (and one on the Porsche Club site). Apologies if this has been discussed and rejected.. think it could be a popular feature if not buried away here already. Chrs

Re: Was it you?
We could have a "was it you" like P1 and other forums.
The only issue with it is that it generally wasn't you, with a forum full of posts without reply which seemed a little pointless really.
We can add a Spotted Porsche Driver if that's what you all want?

Re: Was it you?
Hi Sean - good point, "was it you" normally produces (1) no reply apart from occasionally something like "that would be xxxx, who lives near xxxx and has a xxx model xxx."
It also produces (2) a few annoying little entries of the "why didn't you wave" sort. (3) It also needs to be used responsibly: nobody wants to read "spotted Porsche xxxx registration XXXXXX driving at 150mph on country lane after driver was seen leaving pub after 10 pints with mistress."
For all that I think it's a bit of fun... like I saw a silver 968 sport the other day (Easter Sunday, 11am, M40 driving near Oxford) with a truly amazing body kit - skirts nearly touching road... still can't work out if it was sacrilege or stunning. But would love to share and see if anyone else has seen this monster and who perpetrated this bodykit!

Re: Was it you?
Whoops fixed my earlier typo.
I certainly wouldn't list all the Porsches I see ("today I saw 35 Silver Boxsters in London, erm, and tomorrow I will see as many again"). Only the interesting ones that might catch attention: say, a vintage 911, a Cayman driver who waves back, a 924 in A1 condition or that 968 with body skirts, that sort of thing/..
