that avenger pic brings back memories of a sunbeam i used to navigate in during the late 80s night rallies

Yup she was Emma Peel (M Appeal or Man Appeal!) Yup she drove a variety of Elans generally I think an S2 but sometimes a Sprint.
Joanna Lumley who was Purdey generally drove a TR7 , when Steed was driving the V12 Jaguar XJ12C & Gareth Hunt drove the XJS, this was New Avengers.

there was a problem with continuity with the new avengers cars as it was bl cars and they would just send out whatever colour cars were available, so one week purdey's car was yellow the next it would be blue, this was the same in the early episodes of the professionals when they drove dolly sprints

And a TR7 & Cowley had a Rover SD1. Another issue was there was no spare cars, so if one broke (which they did often) then they had to push the cars into shot!

what did you keep?

I allways used to have a tank, i even worked in the aquatics shop at bents garden centre whilst i was studying. Don't have one at the moment but fancy setting a mini reef in one of those chinese do it all tanks, they're so CHEAP! my last marine tank cost a fortune and it was only a 2ft.

All sorts at first,then I started to specialise in catfish.Those were my favourites.Also had a tank of Rift lake cichlids.I havent got any these days but keep saying I ll start again.never did marines due to the cost and they dont look any cheaper these days either.

Only 3 weeks in to Porsche ownership and I'm well hooked. Even took the day of work and spent the whole time on here looking at all the posts! Haven't seen many 924s on here so thought I'd address the balance. Now I need to find a good owners club.......!

Sorry Jim. Unable to make it this evening. Work in Paddock Wood, live in Ashford. Didn't finish work early enough to get home and come back up. In the new year I'll make the effort and maybe come straight from work- I use the 924 as my daily driver anyway!
