Hi,

Just ordered a few parts from the above, who were very helpful and seemed to know exactly what I needed from a very lame desciption of the part! Anyway I just wondered if anyone else has ordered from them as seemingly we get a 10% discount? Did you get your discount? Was it on all the parts? If it was then I have a bit of chasing up to do!!

Cheers
Rich

i popped into porscheshop a little while ago for hatch seal which they quoted £28.99 +vat, i mentioned they had them on ebay starting at £22 and thats the price they sold it for, i didn't want to be cheeky and ask for my tipec discount on top of that

A demonstration of good haggling!!
If you don't ask you don't get.....should have asked for that extra club discount! (I think they chose what items to do the discount on though as I spent nearly £2k with them in one go and got only £35 off, gutted!

In the club magazine there is a section that details how to get relevant discounts at Porscheshop and quite a few others.

I found that although Porscheshop are pretty good it is worth phoning round 1st as some of their prices are dearer. Also see how much the part is 1st and then mention the club discount because Im not always convinced that they actually give you the discount every time from past quotes

when i've bought parts from here i've always asked how much they are first, quite often the part is cheaper on their ebay shop and i've quoted the starting price and they've sold it me for that price which includes vat unlike the catalogue price

I've had good service from them but they are pricey IMO.

I ordered some new front springs for my 924 from Porscheshop, needed them for MoT, and altough they took a while to turn up, they were about the only place I could get them other than OPC. They were cheaper than OPC too. Only problem (other than taking just over a week to recieve them) was that the 10% discount didn't work (i ordered online). :x

I gave them a call today and they said TIPEC have a new discount code, not sure if anyone else knows about this or not (Clive or Sean)? Anyway, they said they would give me £10 off next order with them and they gave me the discount code. :D

Matt.

I've just ordered some hatch and lock pin seals and got 5% discount after mentioning my membership :? Parts were cheaper than others anyway and they were all in stock so took it.

I've used Porscheshop many times, and I've always been happy with their service. It always pays to shop around though. I bought some rear handbrake shoes from Europarts last week for half the price that Porscheshop wanted.
