Nearside trim removal from A plillar

Post by owen1 »

Hi All
I am fitting a DAB radio to my 1994 993 convertible and need to install a DAB aerial, probably a stick on one to the nearside of the windscreen.

As this will mean earthing it on the A pillar I will have to remove the trim on the pillar. Can anyone offer any tips please so that I do the least amount of damage?

I have read various threads which suggest that it might be glued on.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Hi , the default DAB aerial with the radio wont work very well as Ive been there and tried

What you need is the new adapter from Tore @ Bergvill . I have moved over to the new adapter he makes . I brought one and and the install instructions for right hand drive are from my car .

The adapter works and is miles better than the silly little stick on DAB screen version that doesn't work and this new one allows you to use the Porsche Screen aerial for FM and DAB as it removes the Porsche FM only aerial amp .
