Have you already done the front shocks? What do you do to the spring plates?

the fronts are brand new porsche items, when they get a bit worn they will be gutted for B6 inserts, nice new casings....

the spring plates will be replaced with the items from partworks.de, remade with the correct hardness rubber cast on to new plates £500 for two including all the hardware,

My fronts were new porsche too and will get the inserts when the time comes - I've got a watch setup on Amazon using the camelcamelcamel app to let me know when the price drops.

Not sure when I will get round to dropping the rear suspension and transmission.... want to get it all renewed where necessary, cleaned up and various bits painted.

Completely refreshing the rear suspension is very worthwhile but a big job, see pics. I've done it a couple of times on different cars, can be done at home on stands but rope in some extra hands and give yourself plenty of time especially if you plan on repainting / refurb'ing components.
