911 996 replacing door window
I have had my 911 c 4 s for about 6 months and am ploughing through a long list of things to do. Has any one ever experienced changing a door window and about how much can I be expected to shell out for a new one. The one in the drivers door has a few lines where the previous owner couldn't be bothered to clean the window rubbers out. I was wondering if they can be polished out as well.

Just searched the internet and found someone who can polish out the scratches. Not that cheap but if it works, better than a new screen and door glass. Will post when it's done and whether it worked

Re: 911 996 replacing door window
Just had both door window scratches polished out. What a difference it makes, the glass looks almost new. An absolute fraction of the cost of replacing the door glass, getting the guy back in a few weeks to do the screen,,,,,another job off the list, Also I have had the build sticker attached to the underside of the bonnet re done (bit anal I know but it looks good)
all I had to do was get as much detail off the original that was there and take it to my local sign writers.
