my indicators work ok - but there is no bing bong bing bong noise. Anyone know what and where is the indicator noise making thingy is?

Never had a bing bong only a tick that's on an S2

I'd say its because the relay is under the bonnet, if it bothers you then you could make a plug in extension of the wiring loom to bring the relay into the cabin to give you some noise.

Being old and a bit deaf plus the self cancelling thingy on the column is old and worn too, my indicators dont always self cancel and I didn't always notice. A couple of diodes and a little buzzer from Maplin solved the problem. I found it easier to do the wiring mod in the boot rather than under the dash.
