Just to let anyone with mo30 shocks that the lower spring platform are back available . Looks like Porsche Germany have 150 available .
If you have tried adjusting the front springs when they haven't been moved for the last 25+ years you will realise how they weld themselves together as per a set I recently purchased . I was fortunate to get one to move but the other was solid , with these becoming available, I was able to cut the platform from the tube with the thread all good underneath . The threaded tube are still NLA , so make sure you don't damage these or cut to deep. Sent the shocks out to be rebuilt.
I replaced both of mine so have the good old one going spare for £30 plus postage if anyone needs one.

Ground Control in the US also make a conversion kit to fit standard struts.

Further to my first post , I have just received my rebuilt shocks back from Ian at IGRacing , his address is on koni uk website . Cost was very reasonable for all four to be stripped down, seals replaced and tested on his dyno. I did not ask and had these rebuilt to standered ,but I am sure he could revalve these to your requirements.
Look forward to getting these on the car and seeing how bad they were previously.

Sgl1966 - have you had chance to try your rebuilt struts out yet?

I noticed this weekend that one of my M030 struts has gone soft and also both of the top adjusters are seized. I did actually contact a few of the Koni recommended repairers a couple of years ago, but I never had any response!

I'll contact IG to see if they can help me out this time around :)

Do they offer a shotblast & powder coat service as well as the internal refurb?

Hi , not managed to get them on the car yet , but you can tell there is substantial difference even with compressing by hand and they are so easy to adjust now.
Ian offers full paint/powder coat service if required although I had mine blasted before I sent them to him and have had them painted elsewhere with the correct RAL paint code he supplied .
