Hi All

Rear disc cover plates, I have just taken mine off my s2 and one seems just about useable but the other is shot.
Checked out online price sources and design 911 want £52 ex vat and others much more. Are there any alternatives to these prices or any other manufacturers who supply the same part for less?

Regards

Mark

Not that I know of.

I couldn't bring myself to fork out that much a brand new set so ended up buying a decent condition pair second hand ...took a wire brush to them to clean off any surface crud and sprayed them with hi temp paint.

They may not last as long as a brand new set, but you can put the savings towards a better set of brake disks - far better value for money in my opinion!

Let us know if you do find a brand new cheaper alternative though!

Jonny

To be honest I always leave them off! I certainly wouldn't be paying money for them!

Likewise mine have been removed... I figured if anything it will help marginally with brake cooling on track. Like most mine were shot.
