Did you go to Goodwood Festival Of Speed?
I'm looking to go in 2016 - any hints, tips & advice welcome. Best day to go? How about accommodation, costs etc. I intend to drive there unless advised otherwise. Any other things I should know?

Yes - fantastic event. Prob worth staying over on the Saturday night and getting 2 days. We travelled up from Exeter in the am. Got there about 8.45 and left around 6 and didn't see it all.
Tips - if you are going for 1 day, take a picnic, chairs & blanket so you can totally chalet. If moneys no object then book some hospitality as there are some great packages. We didn't bother with Grandstand seats - seemed a waste.

Very helpful - many thanks. I will investigate staying somewhere near the place if I can find acommodation.
