New Central Region ARO

Post by Porsche »

I'd like to welcome the new Central region's ARO Brian Rowledge, and thank John Brookes for all the great work he has done in the past as our RO.

I hope you'll still be a regular at the Red Lion John?

Also congratulations to Paul Bird for stepping into John's shoes as our RO. I'm sure you and Brian will be a formidable team. 8)

Now thats what I call strength in depth, sorry to hear about John's early retirement, but in Paul Bird he has an outstanding replacement and with Brian in assistance central region can only be a top area in the club.
Many thanks John and good luck Paul and Brian

Hi Everyone, thanks for the vote of confidence.

Paul and I are meeting up soon to assemble next year's programme.

As already requested by Paul, if you wish to make suggestions (clean ones please) for next season's calendar of events then please do so. Luckily we already have a list which could cover the next two seasons and so we are expecting some b****y good turn outs next year.

Finally, best wishes to John, even though he is probably going to buy a plastic car yet again. Mind you I almost fell into the Marcos trap myself.

John could always buy this race spec 911 from our friends down at ClubAutoSport... Image
I do hear that John isn't completely moving away from Porsches though. Something about a Porsche 924 Carrera G.T. LeMans race spec replica thingy? I'm sure John will fill us in when he's ready?
