Hi, my Gen1 Cayman has Bridgestone Potenza N0 tyres on the front and after 20,000 miles and a puncture, I want to replace the rears. Black Circles have Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric N0 for £180 each compared to £220 for the Potenzas. Both tyres are N0 rated but can anyone tell me if putting different brands front and rear is a good idea. The fronts have only done 3000 miles so replacing all four is not an option currently.
Thanks.
Different brand front and rear.

Re: Different brand front and rear.
Ideally you should have matching tyres front and rear. However, in the real world, if they don't match it's doesn't mean your car will career uncontrollably into the closest ditch.. unless you're daft. It wouldn't worry me particularly.
Check camskills and oponeo for tyre prices online. Both are trustworthy suppliers with - normally - keen prices.
