Ken, if you build a 924 turbo to the standard of your 944 turbo, you will have in my opinion the coolest of car collections.

Re: My 944 restoration picture thread
Thanks for the info.... Will have to get one ordered as including the rocker & inlet manifold, the airbox is one of the visually important parts of the engine bay on a 944...kongsodoken wrote:Back in stock at OPC £185 plus vat

Re: My 944 restoration picture thread
Ken, can you recommend a firm to passivate a set of ATE iron calipers off a 924 Turbo / 944 / 924S? The original finish was silvery.

Re: My 944 restoration picture thread
I've been following this thread for a while now. By far the most impressive restoration I have ever seen. The word restoration is an understatement. You do realise Ken, that you are a basically building a brand new 944?

Nice. Bearing in mind standard pistons run very small clearances and the coating on yours what clearance did Capricorn finish the cylinders to ?

Bottom end now complete so more pictures soon
This is a stock build but adding a few bits to improve reliability like the forged rods, ceramic coating, etc
