I went to the monthly Porsche meet at Ace this Monday,
2 944s, one of which I built for the owner. (I was only one by 9pm)
2 924.
1 968.

And about 80-100 911s!

Magnus Walker tuned up, along with Liam from Prodigy and various other well known drivers and Porsche mag guys.

It was a good night, just a bit shy on the 944 front.
The drive out round London was good fun too.

Living in Dublin:), smashing turnout of cars in fairness, think of the H2O,s as unique.

Yes, turnout was amazing an quality of cars was too.

Really was good, which is why I wondered why more 944 team didn't attend.

Where? At home. The Ace Cafe nights are OK but repetitive, with much the same core of vehicles turning up each time. When the weather forecast is "unpleasant" the prospect of an hour and a half's slog through London traffic to stand around in a car park looking at the same old stuff doesn't appeal.

The meet could do with a bit more variety, perhaps with themed evenings like Thames Valley are doing on the 7th ;) [shameless plug]

They were recovering from the annual Rutland outing all 47 of them

The Ace is a once a year 5hr round trip for me, and it needs to be light and warmer! Best thing is arrange an Ace meet couple of weeks before and round them up they will turn up - we have done it before

Hopefully I will be at the Novello on Tuesday though....

I doubt the turn out will ever be like that again, nor will the quality of cars.

Mainly due to the well known people attending.

Car park was full by 6:30, by 8 the roads surrounding and land oppersite were full too.

This yellow RSR rep on BBS E50 was a fave.

Sorry, I do not.

That pic I found online, it was taken by someone else. I was actually searching for a pic of the RSR, it just happened to have a pic of my car attached to it.

I have a lot of pictures of it though. what are you after?

This pic is strange, it make the front wheel look like it has pos camber, I even checked the car when I saw this, maybe its because there is a lot of camber on the rear.

The car looks a bit different lately now it has a front mount intercooler, different size tyres ect.. I hope to do some euro driving in it this summer, so im getting it ready now.
