Have now received my membership pack 2 months after joining and it contains an All Torque club magazine that is August/September 2013......... a year out of date.

Is there not an up to date magazine available?

Not a good start to my experience of this club.

Richard, you flagged the issue last week and a pack was sent out. Lee didn't have any of the current issue left, so he sent out what he had. The next issue is due out on the 1st October.

Apologies it's been a crap start, we don't have employees the Club is run by volunteers. It would be nice if everything ran smooth but sometimes it goes wrong.

I can sort out a refund if you are unhappy, no problem at all. :)

My sincere appologies, I didn't have any of the latest issues left, wanted to make sure you got something to read and used the magazine I had. I think it was a 100th edition issue? If I can track down the latest issue, I'll try and get it posted to you.

The issues with membership have been caused by me and me alone, for that I appologies. I am now no longer the membership secretary of the club and handed over all the equipment to Sean last night. I really enjoyed my time, travelled the country making friends, handed packs to some new members in person and after doing it for over 2 years I feel quite sad it's ended with me letting people down. I'm sure the club will benefit from the reliability of a better solution to the issues I have caused and hope the members get the service they deserve. The committee deserve better for the effort they continually put into the running of the club. I will be rejoining the club this month ( if they'll have me? ) as I do wish to remain a member and think its worth every penny.
Lee.

Lee

Of course we will have you, your new membership card is in the post. :)

Membership Manager is the most demanding role within the Club, it is constant and for the most part a bloody ball ache. Circumstances change and despite the best of intentions something has to give and it is always the hobby that suffers. People forget that we all have lives and jobs, that we juggle around the running of the Club.

You have worked hard over the last couple of years, you must have sent out several thousand envelopes over that time.

We should be thanking you Pal, not you apologising to us. Have a nice break with the family and I will catch up with you soon. :)

Agreed. Well done Lee for your hard work I know how hard the juggle between house, family, work and hobbies can be and the latter is always most difficult to maintain.

Thank you for being so kind, I just didn't want people to think the committee hadn't done all they could for the benefit of the club. I does make me sad to think I've tainted someone's opinion of such a great club.

Funny story, I'm starting yet another new job in the new year and the office is in Chorley. You might well see me at one of the meeting Tony. I believe you were one of the first members I ever processed and did come to meet you in person. :D

I just want to clarify that my job took me all over the country and that's how I got to meet new members, the club wasn't paying for me to drive around. :D
