Just watched the MotoGP, What a ride by Lorenzo 2nd place, he was carried off the bike and had a chair on the podium

''Having injured himself a fortnight ago in China, where he suffered fractures in both ankles, Lorenzo has taken another battering this weekend with a crash yesterday afternoon, followed by this latest accident, midway through the second lap of a run during FP3''.

the BTCC
No1 BTCC fan here!! :D
been watching all afternoon have not moved from the sofa all afternoon! lol.
Fairly good weekend for the Vauxhall boys.

Porsche cup numbers are falling every year though, talk on the offical btcc website forum about it might be replaced with formula 3.

Hi all
I dont think they can keep it up with the carrera cup unless they make it more competitive throughout and get more cars on the grid . you have your front runners with the pro then you get to nigel rice in the pro am and thats about as exciting as it gets......
I used to enjoy the carrera cup a few years ago but now couldnt care less enjoy the btcc more but on that note i do thik the vauxhall's are bully's some times.
But it does make for more fun racing , gives em a bit to do trying to control car with a few nudges...
Croft here i come.....

In this months 911 & PW (I think) their is an article about running a Cup car & it talks of budgets around £250K & I suspect the front runners are spending much more than that! That is big money & I suspect you could run a open wheeled formula car as a front runner for less money. I wonder if that is the issue with declining grids. But I do agree that it got a little processional, especially after Tim Harvey went out.

Lorenzo is amazing! cant wait to see what he does when hes fit! I think Valentino is going to have to use all the tricks he knows to keep that kid behind him!
