Post subject:  Smell of Petrol Fumes in the Cabin

I can sometimes get a whiff of petrol (unburnt) inside the cabin.

Any ideas where I should look?

You & Simon (Simes69) ummmmm....

Have a look at the filler pipe. This is a cloth/rubber mix & go porous as they get older. The other thing is that most Porsches use a carbon cannister as part of the breather system in order to catch fumes & on a 944 at least there is a ton of pipework around this.

A bit of research has suggested the fuel sender which can crack or have a loose connection, it's located under a plastic cover underneath the battery, will report back after the weekend investigation.
