Hi All,
It was nice to meet a few faces at my 1st branch meeting last week. Sorry I had to dash off but I was feeling a bit under the weather - mad few weeks at work. But I need your advice again, on my 996 I have noticed that the heater is not fantastic, which as it is my first Porsche do to know if this is normal.
The problem I have is that it is good at lower temps, but when I call for heat there is no real difference until I get to 26-27 degrees, which as the Auto is set at 22deg makes it quite cold. Is this right??.
I also went to Center Gravity on Saturday & met Chris who took my car for a drive. He certainly knows is stuff - well impressed. Upshot was the car needs to be realigned, both front wheels are toe out instead of toe in, which is why I got that bouncing effect on uneven roads & cambers (also exagerated by the NSF camber also out). Suspension is all still original & other than the tracking, it has never been touched since the day it left the factory. Have booked in for end of August, so hopefully everything will be tickety boo then.
See you all at next meet - stu
