I've had my 997.1TT for nearly 9 years and it never fails to put a smile on my face while driving country roads. Has proved to be very reliable with only a few minor issues which were probably due to lack of use as opposed to every day failures. I have no idea what this car is worth on the open market as I no intention of selling it, however for insurance valuation purposes it has increased in value considerably over the last 4 years on the advice of my insurers agreed value policy. I think it would be a hell of a long time to replicate the 930 in value if ever, that doesn't interest me, it's the shear enjoyment of ownership that's addictive. If you like your cars and enjoy the fast roads it definitely won't disappoint.

Morning Allan?

Thanks for replying firstly, yeah to be honest when i brought my first 911 the 930 was just over my budget back then, maybe i should have pushed the boat out and gone for it knowing the prices now but any way ..... history.

Yeah i fancy a turbo but just getting some information off members before buying, i think this is a Gen1 997, what is the difference between models ?

The differences are many but not that much in performance that you can realise on the roads, the link I've found :

Don't forget the 996TT that's also a great car as is moving up in prices too.
