Hi All
As winter sets in I am finding it difficult to open the door on my 997 due to the frost not allowing the window to crack open correctly. Once I've got the door open I then have the same issue trying to close the door properly. The car has to be kept on the drive. I have had this issue before with a boxster, does anyone know of a way to get around this frozen morning routine?
Thanks

I've just read of someone with this problem on facebook. Apparently you need to coat the strip that rests against the glass on the door with a silicon spray or a product called gummi pflege which is a rubber care.

Trim detailer on the inside of the rubber trim will stop it freezing to the glass.
