Hi folks, My first post and I thought I would invite all of you to a VMAX event purely for 911 owners in March 2015 at the Top Gear test track. We have quite the list already with 9e in attendance with their record holding 229mph VMAX car and an eclectic gathering of 911s. A Carrera GT is expected as is a 918! Date: First week of March Venue: Top Gear Test Track - Dunsfold air strip Surrey (where the middle classes call it 'sorrey' Price: £295 per car. Each car can have 1 passenger who can also drive. Therefore the price is per car, not per driver. Sadly no spectators. To register your interest go to this thread on 911uk.com website and add your name/car to the list. ALREADY OVER 50 CARS ATTENDING! ![]() |

sorry for the delayed follow up It was excellent - far better than I thought it would be really well organised and a nice balance with a relaxed day and the opportunity to drive the (ex) Top Gear track at lunchtime ! The Panamera was simply stunning - one of the quicker cars off of the line due to 4wd and launch (until the 918 turned up ![]() Organisers are very good Since then I've been to Bruntingthorpe with them twice. Both good days, but longer runway, though a bit rougher - Dunsfold is super smooth. Got to 188 GPS , and the car was still pulling (my bottle ran out with the braking though !) Doing it again next month; though as I've sold the Panamera , lets see how the new car goes ! |
