This is the sport design wheel I have on the right, I believe it's around £6-700 as a retrofit.

Well I haven't had my 996 very long but I found I've never really been able to get used the button on my steering wheel (it's a tiptronic) so I've had flappy paddles fitted and Thayer are amazing!!! |

It's a company in Bolton called edition9, they cost £399. I'm local to them so I left my car with them for the afternoon. So much better than the buttons! I just couldn't get used to the buttons. |

Vast improvement over the buttons as you say. The metal paddles on mine are superb. |

Yeh so much better than the buttons and the paddles are very high quality. They really are good! |

Hi the £399 didn't include a new steering wheel, but they are super quality. Ive seen on other forums were people are supplying manual steering wheels and they are adding the paddles. I must admit they look like a factory fit. |

It's not complicated, I'd just have a look a www.Edition9.co.uk. that's gonna tell you all you need to know. I just wish I had got hold of a manual steering wheel and had the paddles fitted to that!!! It's a brilliant mod |
