When I press the key fob it locks, then unlocks itself and peeps the horn twice? Now it does this every time and won't stay locked. :(

Anyone had this? Every door, window, glovebox and the sunroof is closed tight.

Try it with the key and see if it resets.

Same thing happens, just unlocks and peeps twice. :(

I gave a friend a loan of my Durametric tool. I've phoned him to bring it back, see if there are any fault codes?

Have a read in the handbook, it tells you what to do in there.

Right, so it stays locked if I push the button twice, but not if I only push it once.............

I got my Durametric back, so I'll check for fault codes in the daylight tomorrow. :study:

In the meantime you'll have to sit outside all night guarding it.....

I think I'll put one of my vicious guard poodles in there to look after it.

How did you get on?

Sounds a bit like one of the door handle or lock microswitches is not making contact.

Needs a passenger side door lock apparently. :( It's still locking after 2 clicks, so I'll wait and do it next year.

Booked into OPC Edinburgh on Thursday for a diagnosis. After the service, my Indy said it was the passenger side lock, but he never phoned back with a cost to repair? Edinburgh is easier for work now, so I don't mind taking it there. :D

Going back in on Thursday for a drivers door lock. At least I get a courtesy car. :D

Drivers door lock cured the problems. OPC also replaced a small rod that was rotten in the door handle. :D
