Hi All,

I’m hoping you can help me with an issue I am experiencing with my 2017 991.2 C2S.


When I break to below 10mph and take my foot off the brake pedal, allowing the car to roll forward I can hear a rotational squeaking noise from the near side. I have it when I set off at the traffic lights or crawling forward in traffic.

I took the car into my local OPC who stripped and cleaned the brakes but I still have the same noise.

Has anyone experienced this or have an idea what it could be? I thought it could be the pad brushing the disc resulting in the noise.

Yep
Had the same issue , it was believe it or not the anti squeal shims
I removed them along with the pads and bent the tabs back to grip the pads firmer,then
replaced,and it was loads better .
Hope this was helpful as from what i have seen so far hardly any posts get through that is if this one does !
