Headlight Condensation

Post by Stu997 »

Hi,
Anyone experienced condensation in headlights of a 997?
Noticed condensation on lower section on inside of both headlights after a wet, early morning journey. (Headlights on)
When I returned to the car a few hours later it had gone.
I haven't noticed this issue again, although not driven it on many wet early mornings since.

Could this end up with the need for replacement units?

Any help on this topic appreciated. :|

Will check out the breathers.
Did speak to a Porsche Specialist who advised not a big issue. Due to the low heat of Xenon lights condensation can form, and has seen it on a number of other cars. The old halogen bulbs would have cleared it.
Thanks
