Evening guys.
Just into month 3 of owning a 2005 997 2S
After the recent heavy rain, found the passenger footwell soaking wet - enough to wet vac up.
It has now dried out, but concerned how this could have happened
Anyone else had similar issues?
Stuart

Re: Water leak into passenger footwell
Open your passenger door frequently, if the car is out in the rain mostly the doors can get a lot of water in them, often will not drain until you open the door. Check door seals, sunroof and and air inlet drains.Bonnet seals and drains, a lot of leaf litter and general muck about this time of year blocking up small tubes and pipes.

Sam,
Thanks for this. Has no sun roof, but will regularly check the other potential blockage areas.
It has 4 weeks warranty left, so will pop back to Brookspeed and ask them to check it out

Re: Water leak into passenger footwell
Hi,
Just to close this post off - the ingress was down to rodent damage. A gasket below the windscreen was completely gone, thereby allowing water to run down into the footwell. (Both passenger and drivers). New parts were ordered and issue fixed.
An unusual issue perhaps.
