It was interesting to drive the 992 C2S which is extremely competent, refined in town and quick when required. The 450 BHP with 8 speed PDK box is all you would require to shrink distances with little effort. The rear suspension struggles to handle the torque and therefore might need a rethink on a GTS version and one minor niggle was the hyper active stop start which is a menu option and no longer a button to switch it off.

Should people order the sport package to move the rear number plate up? ….I don’t know.

In summary, hundreds of minor changes all add up to make this a class leading grand tourer.

Notable that you should say grand tourer rather than sports car Nick.
I really do like many of the lines of the new 911 and may even venture forward for a test drive.

You can possibly see less of the 911 engine than the Cayman!

Gary,
Grand tourer because you hop in and the 992 delivers in an impressive and effortless way; well worth a test drive.

Come back from the dark side and get a GT3 ordered!
