Question, I have to sell one of my 911's but of course i like both for different reasons and they both suit my driving as pretty much a daily driver.
911 SC 1982 targa roof is ok not great,slate grey 16" fuchs. Car is in great condition, and is 100% reliable and tight to drive sounds s uppers etc, whale tail spoiler but i have a grill to remove the spoiler if i choose, ,quite like it on though. It has a massive history folder from day one and engine and gearbox from RSR in last 20k miles
964 targa carrera 2 1990 Slate grey roof is perfect as is body and mechanics, linen turbo seats, car wants nothing doing sounds superb and drives a1. It was cat d in 2001 and had a wing and bumper.
Both cars can be used as daily transport and fun cars at weekends. The 964 is more refined quieter and feels more at home on the daily commute but its less attractive in my eyes and is a little too refined in the way it goes fast and handles, the sc is more attractive in its black fuchs monster spoiler longer bonnet and slightly sharper lines, its harder to drive fast noisier smellier but more enjoyable to drive quick in feels more involved, the 964 is a little too cuddly looking.
So need some help which would you keep, ie which is the better investment, he easier to maintain and the better car, need to advertise one of them im the next few weeks thanks in advance.
