As you may know ive got a 964 and its got the standard pop up spoiler on the back.
Now ive been toying with the idea of a big spoiler, maybe a turbo whale tail type.
My missus thinks they look stupid, except turbo body cars.
Do you think they look over the top?
Or do they look brill?

To me, it's the classic 911 shape. (** BUT I MAY BE A LITTLE BIT BIASED **)

Seen pictures on Pistonheads of a white 964 with a Ducktail.. Each to their own.

They do look a bit plonked on with the narrow body models.

Like most others - I am biased; but:
You have a car that, when it was build, was the cutting edge of technology and car engineering; 18 years on, it will still have most modern cars for breakfast on a twisty road; why would you want to pimp it up?

Your car has enough presence as it is; kids stare with amazement at your rear spoiler going down at traffic lights. It's a classic. It has grace. It does not need anything else ether than a good polish every so often.

My 2p worth.

I have a turbo tail on a narrow body and I think it looks great. But then I am biased. 8)

Duck grills are expensive arn't they???

Turbo tails look great IMHO. I have one on my narrow body and it doesnt look over the top at all
