Sorry to double up as I also posted this in praise or grumble.
I am planning to get a top end rebuild for my air cooled 3.2 and a G50 gearbox overhaul this winter. I live in Dorset and I am considering Marque 21, Canford Classics and Silvertune. I would be pleased to hear from anyone that has used these companies for their top end rebuild and what the experience was like. Not only is it a lot of money to spend but the car is getting quite valuable now so I want to make the right choice. I would also be happy to hear about any other recomendations.
Cheers
Ian

Re: Top end rebuild in Dorset
Have used Eddie at Silvertune for years to look after my 993, he is a real top bloke, an air cooled expert and he has a dedicated engine rebuild shop. Other Porsche dealers use him to do their air cooled work. A Tipec member too
