Iam after sum light weight recliners for the white flash.
Any recomendations?

Recaro are out, due to cost (1200k a pair).
Cobra seats are a good price, are they any good?
Corbeau are very cheap and look the part, for the price they seem a bargain. :?:
Any feedback is wellcome.

I've used both Cobra & Corbeau in the past, with Cobra being slightly the better at that time. I'd suggest going to one of the bigger outlets with stock & sitting in both, no use buying a nice seat & finding you either rattle or your bums too big for it!

the seats i put in the black beast are good seats and cheap too. they hold the power very well so are quite strong and they weigh next to nothing. they arn't even a branded seat. i got them from heywood car spares HCS in heywood. i think they are actually ebay seats but for £75 the pair i can't grumble :)

I went demon tweeks, sat in all the seats there. And decided thet Recaro seats are the best! But cost far to much
So ive ordered the nxt best thing, a pair ov Cobra misano,s.
They look IMO like the genuine Porsche sport seats (turbo/boxster s style) same shape and comfy.
10-14 days and they will land. :bounce:
Cant wait! :D

Kiddie in a sweet shop?

The best way I find to buy Recaros is secondhand from a production car that fitted them, they go for very little money compared to new 'uns.

Cant wait :D
Love getting new stuff for the flash, makes me smile :bounce:
I looked at second hand recaros from evo,type-r ect, but they look big and bulky and wasnt certain about fitment issues or there weight. So ive opted for the 13.5 kg cobra seat, compared to my current 18 year old dinos that are 25-30 kg, they are miles ahead.
I will let you know when they land and how good they are. :)

The seat back is a gloss black polycarb with alloy side bits.
You can get the backs in any color or carbon if you have loads of money.
And iam into the half leather, i think they will be a bit cooler in summer.
Subframes havent arrived.
Where are my subframes ???

Out of interest, what was wrong with the old seats? My driver's one has no support at all, I suppose 181000 and 17 years takes it's toll. If you sit in it and press the 'up' button the bolsters and the seat rises around you but your bottom stays where it started! I'm thinking to have it put in for refurbishment, the insides not the leather as a bit of wear and scuffing is 'character'. Anybody had any work like this done? How much does it cost? etc etc... It's hard to find a second hand one because it's colour is classic grey.

There in at last :)
A bit tight in the width area, 911,s are narrow cars. But they do fit.
A lot more supportive than the standard seats, and look miles better.
You can feel a lot more as well, the old seats were in poor condition, foam worn out, cable/springy things worn-snapped. So they where very soft and bouncy, they are 18+years old.
So iam happy, its like driving a new car.
