Due to changed circumstances where I work in France, and a few health issues that have complicated matters recently, I have reluctantly decided to sell my 1987 3.2 Targa Sport.

Brief Spec:

102,000 miles in Grand Prix White
MOT Oct ’08, Tax Jan ‘09
G50 gearbox, Sports seats, full tool kit

8in & 7in polished Fuchs in immaculate condition
Lowered and geometry aligned with Turbo track rod ends
Re-mapped by Wayne Schofield at Chipmasters Dec 07 to give 253 bhp and 231 lb ft
Fully overhauled Targa roof with new lining and external fabric. Frame powder coated
Stainless Steel mufflers new by Tuthills in Oct 07
Backdated heating, with heater boxes, cables & springs overhauled March 08
Fully detailed engine
New Bridgestone SO2’s fitted April 08
New fresh air blower motor March 08
New bonnet & engine lid struts March 08
New injector March 08
New speakers
New lid & bonnet struts
New gearbox oil Oct 07
Electrical & Instrumentation - everything works as it should
RS steering wheel not included - will be replaced by original, as will be CD player / radio
Treated with POR 15

This is an outstanding example of the Targa, with pretty much everything done and taken care of. Internally, just a short section of piping on the driver’s seat to be made good where worn (see photo), but that is booked in to be done in a week’s time.

Engine doesn’t smoke, it uses very little oil (just done Classic Le Mans and round trip to Brittany so I know) and runs & handles superbly. Previously serviced at Strasse, and according to them, at “no expense spared”

Bodywork immaculate and I have just had Auto Body Tec tidy up the few stone chips, minor door edge marks, and some rear bumper alloy bubbling.

I am back in France (and offline) from this evening (Wed) until Monday evening. Please e-mail me with any questions at: rich.simpson@zen.co.uk but bear in mind that I will be unable to reply until next Monday evening 28 July. For more pics, go to: http://www.pbase.com/richsimp1/porsche_pics
I can also be reached while in France on 00.336.17.47.41.37 (Fr Mob) and 00.44.7711.581443 (UK Mob)

I am asking for offers around £13,250

By the way the black specks are flies, not holes !
