There’s a big and thorough article about them in the latest PCGB club magazine.

I’m in work so can’t refer to it, but the figures are in there. Anyone else?

THis is a deliberate and outrageous attempt to let Mike give you the answer !! We all know that at the classic this weekend he told 3,789 people. 3,788 were totally bored the other one told him to get home and finish the decorating !!!

he was like a pig in poo once he saw the numbers !!!

I don't think there are any official data available. The article in PCGB makes some estimates though. Its a very small number, so if you have one they are set to be worth some money!

I wonder how many Targa's are being passed off as Supersports as the Wide Body was an ordered option.

For some reason there are no official figures from the factory, which could mean they also lost track when the models ran out in late 80,s when they used all the chasis up.

Yes its me between 1987 and 1989 there were 21 Coupes in the UK , which makes them very rare, and according to PCGB rarer than a speedster

So now just call me Sir

Rare? Yes I’ve heard that between 1987 and 1989 all the white ones where brought by a Birmingham based Taxi firm, you can still see the black bonnet on some of them, unless they have had a recent paint job!!!!!!

Started in 86 for the 87 model year, I think. Although the wide body option was available from 84.

newbie here. what exactly makes a supersport? i thought it was just turbo bodied and turbo spoilered? i assumed i was looking at a few of them advertised but are people confusing them and they are not supersports?
