My son drives like the 18 year old that he is and his friend and him alway buy greeen stuff pads?? 8) They think it matters. The speed I drive at, anything works.

Maybe you could coordinate and make the pads the same colour as the calipers? Or does that sound slighly wierd for a man to comment on? :lol:

There very shiny, they painted gold?

The oe pads (textar) are good for normal driving.
Ive got ebc yellow,s on my porsche, never overheated yet!

Yeh not sure pads to put in yet as iv been told standard 1's will be good enough for my kind of driving :alien:

Unless u do track days, the textar pads will work fine 9with the ate fluid.

That the textar?
Textar pads are the oe manafac for all porsche brake,s, except the new big money cars.

Euro parts sell them, i think they where £20/30 a set.
Ebc, yellow are bout £50/60.

have you got new shoes and cables, for the handbrake?

No the hand brake only moves a few clicks away so we are going to leave it at that for the time being.

Thanks for the price's im going to have a nosey about tomorrow and see what people have got :D

Not looking to pay mega bucks for pads but would like a average set in the front and rear.

Well iv been looking about at pads and wanted a nice set in the calipers so i thought i wont mess about and get the DS2500 ...... see how i get on with them.

Fingers crossed this weekend all the brakes will be back on :D
