Hi guys, dose anyone know if the fan bearing on a 964 can be bought from a bearing specialist or is it a porsche part only, also roughly how much? the one on my car is starting to whine a bit, should have changed it when i had the alternator off for repair last month.

Bearing will be a standard dimension job. If you can remove it & get it to a bearing shop they should be able to source one.

Bearing shops have bigger stock & are normally cheaper! Same for oil seals.
