starting and running issues
good afternoon folks, I am having trouble starting my car , it turns over fine and the battery is fully charged, when it does run it runs very rough and misfires when you put your foot down.I run the car on shells premium fuel and has been in the tank for about three months. I've never had any problem starting the car until I had to leave it out in the hot weather for a month . could it be the fuel? before I start stripping down the car,, its a 1986 911 with the 3.2 engine, any help would be appreciated.

Re: starting and running issues
I very much doubt it would be the petrol. I have had the same fuel in my 3.2 for years without any issues. Four years on one tank of gas is my record
Lots of things can cause a misfire, good luck pinning it down. Start with the obvious and work your way through it.

Although I agree with Sean, if you think it may be the fuel, to put your mind at rest.......................start there and drain it, put in fresh fuel and start down the investigation route. Let us know how you get on.
