I have a LHD 993 94 model, with the speedo in km.

I was wondering whether it is possible to change the computer to read out in Mph rather than Km so that i can have the mph in front on me for uk roads. I had a motorbike where this was possible but not sure whether it can be done.

All help ggreatly appreciated.

Marc

It's not possible to change the OBC of the 993 from km/h to mph.

there is a company rad design i think (they advertise in the mags etc)

they will change the dial for you to show km/h and mph.

I have a lhd 993 and just use approximations for calculating the speed in mph, as I quite like the clean look of only having km/h on the speedo.

If you're talking about the actual instrument rather than a trip computer then Speedy Cables will be able to recalibrate it. I've used them in the past & they were always V quick. The other option maybe an s/h instrument out of a MPH car.
