That is wrong in so many ways.... yet true.

The other good line I heard during a night out in Glasgow was a Weegie woman's chat up line of:

"Cam back ta ma flat, hen.... Ah've had four bairns, but ye cannae tell... "

I remember visiting the Shetland Islands for a BP project with Brown and Root.
As soon as our bags were dumped in the Hotel the six of us walked into a bar at Brae.

Before we got chance to introduce ourselves the barmaid did a quick head count and said....
'Ah you must be the lads from Brown and Root to do the air dryer project at Sullom Voe. You'll find this a really friendly place and you'll get a shag for sure'.

Villages and islands, everyone knows each other and exactly whats going on....

It was true.

I was also amazed that the locals all drank and drove as a matter of course.
Probably still have Wicker men up there.

Seriously though the Shetland are a nice place.
Now the island of Unst is another story.....
