I should preface this post by saying that I am in no way connected with Zentrum, I am just a happy customer
I was looking for a good independent to service my new 996 and, after a bit of research, decided to give Zentrum a try. When I phoned to book the car in they were very friendly and efficient and when I mentioned that I wished to renew my tired dampers they even informed me about a special offer at the OPC's on M030 suspension kits.
Yesterday I finally took the car to Zentrum. Upon arrival I was immediately impressed with how clean and tidy the place was (I could happily have eaten my dinner off their service area floor!). Mike was friendly and efficient and my loan car was ready as promised. We ran through what needed to be done and he promised to call if there were any problems and with an update at the end of the day. Sure enough a he phone at 4pm to let me know that everything was going to plan and that the car would be ready when promised.
Today I collected the car. It was ready earlier than promised, all of the work had been done and the bill was as agreed. The best bit was that the total came to £1421 for:
- Minor Service
Change Gearbox Oil
Supply and fit M030 suspension kit (springs, dampers and ARB's all round)
4 wheel alignment
Supply and fit braided brake hoses
Replace rear metal brake pipes
Change Brake fluid to ATE Racing Blue
Change Clutch fluid
Adjust handbrake
Clean out and reset throttle bodies
Supply and fit wiper blades
Refit wiper arms
Renew timing chain tensioner seal
Carry out air bag check
That's a lot of work for £1421; which was for all parts, and labour (excluding VAT).
It is rare that you get good customer service and excellent quality of work but in this case that is exactly what I received. I can recommend Zentrum to anyone in the Nottingham area.
