my local OPC rang me last week to remind me that my car was due a service, i know its their job to remind us (also helps their coffers) when i explained that due to the bad summer this year the car had only done about 2k miles and that i wouldn't be servicing the car until april as again due to the winter the car wouldn't be used much, she replied with "i will ring in the first week of april to remind you if thats ok" very courteous i thought

Thats what you pay for. Just had a full service including brake strip. Antifreeze & repair to windscreen washers (which havn't worked since I got the car as all the lines were perished & it was blocked solid with ****.) £80 inc VAT. It helps that the car was hardly out of the garage for most of this year. Off to the Lakes for Christmas so catch up with you guys later.
