Day after the first service I was going on an awaited trip. Car had to be limped back to garage. Mechanic said he hadn't had time to finish the service (put it back together properly).
Friend wanted to buy my car. Directed him to the same main dealer. He made a deal. When he returned they denied all knowledge of it. Their salesmen was in custody. I had to write to Reading to get it sorted for him.
A woman drove me off the road whilst I was overtaking her. I asked 'didn't you see me?' She said 'Yes but you should have awaited your turn' Car pulled over to right unless steering grabbed. Main dealer charged hour's labour to say everything was fine, some worn bushes that could wait for next service. Drove away clutching the steering wheel to stop being driven into opposing traffic. Took it to the nearest tyre/mot place. Guy took one look at it from ten feet - "You've got a bent wishbone". Jacked it up and showed it to me. Bent wishbone, nothing wrong with bushes.
