HI all....
Just incase any of you are thinking of any changes to the interior trim, I can highly recommend DesignLS, run by a chap called Linas. I'd looked around and seen two companies were discussed quite a lot, Royals and DesignLS. The thing that swung it for me was the capability of having the porsche crest embossed into the central armrest.

So, in all, steering wheel, gear surround, handbrake, central storage lid and door storage bin lids with handles, all done in alcantara stitched in the colour to match the car. Work is spot on.
Hopefully seen as a tasteful upgrade......

That looks great, looking at getting the steering wheel done on the MX5 so yet another choice potentially.

Hi Jim,

I'd looked at Royals to begin with, good cost and could also fit a temporary wheel whilst modifications were done to my own, all sounded good. Then i saw the work of DesignLS on a forum members car, looked stunning, if its a straight recover as was mine, chap quotes 3 days, if you want shape modification, enlarged thumb grips, he sends it to Germany, so longer down time with no replacement wheel.

It was purely quality of work and being able to replicate the "embossed' crest that swing the whole package for me, I'd most certainly use him again.
May be doing the drive on Sunday if the weathers good and I don't end up being on site, if your around you could see his work on my car....
All the best
Mark.

Hi,

I was thinking, could anyone recommend a good alternative somewhere else in Europe? Because the closest I'll get to Britain in the next 2 years will be when I'll be bringing my boss to see some French Riviera real estate... And I don't see myself driving all the way from the Mediteranean to the UK during the day or so of free time I'll have, unfortunately...

I repair and refinish steering wheels, depending on the extent of the damage. There are a few examples on my FB business page:-

Whilst I'm not local (based in Falkirk Scotland) there are always courier services.

I've just done a Momo steering wheel which is the most recent post on the FB page.
