How does LIME GECKO justify there postage costs, £5.99 just to send a hat & why did they not attend Gaydon 7th / 8th Sept?

Their postage costs are fixed, so therefore the same for one item as 10. Answer get together as we will & order a bigger order & amortize the postage across a few bits.
They didn't come to Gaydon as there was a family wedding, when the came to Hatton the level of business they did was pretty small. We had some stock on the club office stand at Gaydon including caps for a fiver. They soon went though!

Sue has already said she is going to sort out a group buy for the Bristol Region. Were you not in the marquee when we discussed the subject on Sunday?

Which style hat did you want? I might have one here.

The issue with postage is, Royal Mail lose too many parcels so most companies prefer to use a courier.

TIPEC are currently suffering a 3% loss of new member packs at the hands of royal fail. While that is only about £12 a year, it's the fact that a few new members think I'm incompetent at registering new members that gets me. :(

I do see how £10 postage on a £10 item seems steep though.

Not a good stat is it, 3%, multiply that by their whole business and your talking megabucks.

I reckon birthday cards with a little something inside are suffering at around 75% :D

It's not, it's £7.20 no matter what you order.

We had a decent range of Club stuff at the Show, over 40 items. I think we had 2 caps and some brollies left?

I am happy to listen to a better solution but we have had several Regalia suppliers and LG have been the best so far by a long way.

The actual merchandise is bloody cheap, maybe we should just put the price up and have free P&P. :)

Luckily did manage to buy a few items off the stand & also did a order through Sue (Bristol Region) so did save a little on postage... kitted out now.

Hi Sean :)

No idea about this gear but your last comment is spot on.....

A LOT of Ebay dealers give free P&P because it gives a fairer comparison on price....

All the best Brett :)

After seeing this post, I checked up myself..
One of the guys has left, but the company is still trading, there was supposed to be a new holding site whilst the new website is designed.
Sean, I've asked LG to contact you...
They said all calls should have been diverted to an answerphone - but again that looks to not be the case...
