Has anyone had work done at discount 9?I'm considering them for future service/repair work,or does anyone have recommendations for South Wales or Bristol areas?

Bristol region has a tie up with the Bristol OPC - TIPEC membership allows you to join the classic club set up by the dealership. Working well so far with free advice and £60/hr labour rates. I'll tell you more next week as my 944 is in for belts & water pump tomorrow.

We probably have a couple of spaces left on a free car clinic on 13th April if interested. £50 for 2 years membership is easily recovered at the reduced labour rate and you can get the stamp in book.

Yes, there is a fixed price list for most models.

I would like to get some opinions on this outfit also. They are advertising full engine rebuilds (studs, valve guides and rings)on ebay for 3150 inclusive of VAT, which is fairly impressive. I reckon that at that price a trip to S Wales could save me a grand.
