Lots of people book euro cover for a single trip or annual cover - when you are looking at what is available I would suggest you don't bother looking at Green Flag as they do not do what they are supposed to do...like give some help when you break down Mike and I saw an ad for a one owner '54 VW Splitty Barn Door - well what else could we do...only it was in Sweden. Still bought it though!! So we arranged to collect it and needed euro cover. Cutting a looooong adventure short we needed Green Flags help at 2am in heavy snow and in minus ten conditions as one of the wheels (inclluding hub) fell off our four wheel trailer in Denmark. We called Green Flag...waited three hours with no sign of help and not even a phone call so we called Green Flag again. We were told we'd get a call in five mins but after an hour it started to get light so we sorted things as best we could and continued hoping that the Danish old bill didnt pull us up again...they didnt and we made it home with three wheels on our trailer!! If you want to give Green Flag money do not expect ANYTHING in return. Their customer service department could be run better by our pet hamster...and that died years ago.... |

I've always used AA 5 star cover & the one time I needed them, they were fantastic. A lot of the others have a car age limit which you need to be careful of. |

This is without doubt the craziest project we have ever taken on.... I robbed the pics from here http://dtavw.com/2013/02/12/barndoor-fever/ as my pics from the trip will not upload due to size ![]() |
