Good evening
I'm a first timer onto this site and, hopefully, about to purchase my first porsche. I am not an expert though I am an enthusiast (this could well become my hobby I get greyer!)
The above car is offered via Stephen Boag in Glasgow. Having travelled up from Kent today I've seen this car and it looks and reads extremely well. Jim from the SE London and Kent region has suggested I post my 'check' enquiry on the tipec site. Can any one give me feed back / information on the car?

I would definitely get the car inspected, that is big money for a 3.2

G50 box was fitted to 911's from 1986.

The photo's do look good :D

Oil stamps in a book are all well and good. Have a look at the invoices, how many full services as it had and where at?

Is the build sticker still under the bonnet. They are hard to remove, usually a good tell if the car has been bumped.

Didn't that dealer have some negative feedback on here a while back ?
I looked at a Supersport there which had low miles but lost all its history !

You can use George Morrison for the inspection, he's close. Otherwise Motortune in Shotts have done a few for friends. They're just up the M8 from the dealer.
